Outsourcing our revenue cycle management was the most sensible option. Billing and collections has become very challenging with so many regulatory changes and coding changes in progress. A billing specialist needs to have several different realms of knowledge including coding claims, denial management, and medical expertise.”

Dr. David S. Zimmerman, MD is a family medical practitioner in Laguna Hills, California. Dr. Zimmerman studied at the University of Maryland and University of Miami Schools of Medicine and has been in practice for over thirty years. He was awarded a fellowship degree from the American Academy of Family Practice. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto where he received his Bachelor of Science. He received his MBA in healthcare from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Zimmerman offers services to diagnose and treat a number of conditions including Annual Physicals, STD Testing, Primary Family Care, Adolescent medicine, Urgent Care and Walk-Ins, Blood Work Tests, Weight Loss, and Addiction Treatment with a focus on opiate detox treated with Suboxone.

Dr. Bruce Van Vranken, MD is a family practice specialist in Lake Forest, California. He graduated with honors from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and has more than 41 years of diverse experiences, especially in family practice. Dr. Van Vranken affiliates with many hospitals including Saddleback Memorial Medical Center and Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center.

“Providers of all sizes are considering outsourcing their medical billing,” said Jonathan Gerber, RN, MBA, CEO of MEDCOR Revenue Services. “Medical billing is changing so fast that it’s hard for an individual medical practice, or even a single hospital, to profitably manage it in house. As a trusted partner we are constantly striving to deliver the best results in maximizing revenue. On average we increase aggregate revenue per claim by 5-7 percent, which delivers effective billing services with no out of pocket costs.”
